Use the studio for your own practice and connect with your community!

Open Practice is an opportunity to come in and practice on your own terms. There is no instructor-led class and no fixed start or end time - you’re welcome to arrive when it suits you and stay for as long or as little as you like during the scheduled hours.

This is a spacious time to explore what your body and mind are asking for that day. You might revisit familiar poses, linger with something you’ve been working on, or simply move and rest in a way that feels supportive. Practicing alongside others can offer quiet inspiration - observing different approaches, rhythms, and points of focus - while still remaining grounded in your own experience.

All studio props are available for use, and you’re welcome to settle in with a bolster or browse our collection of yoga books to support your practice. A teacher will be present in the studio, typically engaged in their own practice, contributing to a shared atmosphere of focus, curiosity, and ease.

FREE for all Iyengar Yoga Students*

You do not have to be here at the start of open practice nor stay until the end.

*Regular class attendance with a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher is required prior to participating in open practice.

Advanced registration is not required - just show up when you can!
