Have you ever felt a yoga pose was beyond your body’s capabilities, only to find that you could access the pose with the use of props?
We certainly have!
The effective use of props can be an incredible way to grow your practice, experience new sensations, increase understanding of asana, and expand your awareness of your practice. Plus they can make a pose feel soooo good!
Join us for one or both days of this weekend workshop to learn more about using and being creative with props in Iyengar yoga. We are grateful to offer wall ropes, ceiling ropes, setu bandha benches, a trestle, blocks, yoga chairs, and more in our studio - if we have it, we will try to show you how to use it! We will use as many props as possible on both days, accessing different poses each day.
