This February, join studio owner and teacher Randy for a special immersive week of practice inspired by his time studying at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune, India.
This structured 5-day intensive follows the progressive sequencing approach at RIMYI, allowing students to go deeper each day while cultivating strength, clarity, steadiness, and renewal.
Whether you are a long-time practitioner or ready to re-ignite your dedication to practice, this week offers a rare opportunity to experience the depth and methodology of Iyengar Yoga right here in Asheville. Classes will meet each evening from 6:00–8:00 pm. Students are invited to sign up for the 5-class series, or attend individual class sessions.
Intensive Schedule & Themes
Monday — Standing Poses
Build stability, alignment, and clarity. Establish the foundation of action that supports the week ahead.
Tuesday — Forward Extensions
Quiet the mind, lengthen the spine, and create space in the hips and groins.
Wednesday — Backbends
Develop courage, openness, and vitality with safe, sequential preparation for deeper extension.
Thursday — Abdominal & Core Integration
Strengthen and reorganize from center to periphery to support balance, inversions, and overall integrity.
Friday — Restorative & Pranayama
Experience receptivity, quietness, and the subtle work of breath to integrate the week’s learning.
