Arm Balances (Hasta Tolana Sthiti):
A Two Part Series with Randy Loftis

Join Randy for a fun-filled, two-part, arm-balancing intensive starting Saturday, January 25th. This course will take students through arm balance asanas from level 1 to level 2 and will include poses to prepare for and come out of an arm balance posture with safety and ease. Virtual attendance is available. In-person attendance is recommended.

Recommended knowledge and ability: Students attending this series must have some prior yoga experience, although Iyengar Yoga experience is not required. For session 2, it is further recommended that attendees have an understanding of the actions for Padmasana (Lotus Pose) and are capable of working on Sirsasana (Headstand) in the middle of the room. For all sessions, the student should not have any ailments or injuries that limit their ability to participate.

Each session will run from 4:00 to 6:00 pm EST.

Randy Loftis is a Level 3 Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) who is inspired by the students in front of him and passionate about guiding them toward their self-discovery. Sometimes his teaching is loud, directive, and fervent, and at other times it is light and playful. Randy has traveled to Pune, India twice to study with the Iyengar family, and attends weekly classes with Gloria Goldberg, Raya U.D., and Prashant Iyengar.
